Lanta Diver is a Scandinavian five star PADI IDC centre based on the beautiful island of Koh Lanta. We are ready to bring to you some of the most fantastic places we have found while diving in the waters here.

Lanta Diver Combines The Fantastic With The Obvious.

The fantastic is the coral reefs, the abundant fish life and the warm water. The obvious is the modern diving equipment, the safety, the well-trained staff and the professional attitude. We are members of PADI, the largest diving organization in the world with dive centers in 140 countries worldwide.

Activities after the Dive

Diving means a short time under water and then many hours of talking about the dive. Because of this we do not close the dive center when our boat returns. Every night you are invited to eat, drink a beer or tea, share about your dive and watch diving videos with us. We also have about three hundred CD discs to choose between. We even welcome you to do this all day as part of our instead of diving program.

We take care and make certain that you have a good time, you can even have breakfast with us. We even have a Swiss baker who bakes bread for us, starting every morning at four oclock! Not to be modest - our breakfasts are the best as well!

Trial Dive

Every day, on the beach by our booking office, we have activities for those of you who have not yet tried diving. If you are a bit unsure of whether or not to train for a dive certificate, this is where you can experiment to learn what it is like to breathe under water using a regulator, and if you feel comfortable, to take a short swim with one of our dive masters.

Our Dive Boats
Our boat M/S Lanta Diver I is officially known as Choksombon 3. This proud 22 meter long and 5,5 meter wide boat provides plenty of room for a leisurely day onboard.

Our speedboat, M/V Lanta Diver II, is a 36 foot fibreglass Steppa Craft with double 225 four stroke Honda engines, the most environmentally friendly engines available on the market. With 12 divers on board, she can cruise at 25 knots which means we can offer day trips by speedboat as well as providing private charters on request.

On our live aboard trips 18 persons sleep comfortably in two-bed cabins or you can also spend the night on deck under the stars. Good showers, ample fresh water tanks and a fully equipped kitchen make for a very comfortable time.

Lanta Diver 1 is equipped with an electric compressor, oxygen equipment, life vests, communication radio and other safety equipment.

Dive Locations
Diving manuals and guides have time after time rated the dive spots around Koh Lanta as the best in Thailand. The dive sites offer a large variety of well kept coral reefs, amazing drop offs, caves and wrecks. Listed below are a few of the dive spots, which can be reached by boat in an hour, or two from Koh Lanta.

As the first dive center of our kind we are offering you a combination of training and certification in Sweden and in Thailand. You might prefer to start your training in Sweden where you can study the theoretical parts and do the confined water exercises in a local swimming pool.
