Railay Beach is a small peninsula located between Krabi and Ao Nang in Thailand, and accessible only by boat due to the high karst limestone cliffs cutting off mainland access. These cliffs are very popular for rock climbers from all over the world. Also known for its beautiful beaches and quiet relaxing atmosphere Railay Beach is a great place to hang out. Accommodations range from very affordable bungalows popular with backpackers and climbers, to renowned resorts. The four main areas of Railay consist of Pranang, West Railay, East Railay and Tonsai that is most popular for climbers.
