Patong Beach is located half way from North to South on Phuket Island directly on the western shore, and is one of the most well-known destinations on Phuket. Patong Beach has nearly 3 km of fine white sand bordering the horseshoe-shaped Patong bay, ringed by tall hills that offer spectacular sunset views. There's usually a nice surf with big waves to play in and plenty of inviting Activities available along the beach like parasailing, swimming, banana boats or just hiring a beach chair & umbrella for working on your tan, relaxing with a book or photographing a tropical sunset.
