TIME
FOR LIME, unlike many other
Thai cooking schools, is situated right
on the beautiful beach Klong Dao on
Ko Lanta Island in southern Thailand.
Our scenery is a three kilometres stretch
of white sand backed by rain forest and
jungle, with local longtail fisherman
boats colouring the bay.
The
location is an open-air kitchen, dining
area & beach bar - a blend of raw
& modern Scandinavian design with
elements of local Thai materials. Many
people say this is the most beautiful
kitchen in the world!

other food enthusiasts and share the fun
of Thai cooking, while wining and dining,
listening to good music in a relaxed,
friendly and clean environment, sensing

Our
workshops are built around hands-on preparation
you learn by doing & lasting. Our
menu is mainly based on seafood and vegetables.
In our workshops we also include some
FUSION dishes, suggestions for substitute
ingredients, where to buy, and how to
preserve so you can cook back home and
get the right taste. |

Practical
information:
Workshops include the preparation & enjoyment
of a full course meal, fresh fruit, refreshments,
a good COOKING APRON
and recipes that
you can take back home. We provide free pick-up
service on most of the island. We also can
help you with baby-sitting services, enquire
/ inform us when booking (2 days in advance).

At TIME FOR LIME we also have 8 clean,
cozy, basic bungalows with high ceilings
and free WiFi for your laptop. From
Oct. 15th 2009 4 bungalows will have
Air-con (also a fan if you don’t want
air-con all the time) and a kids loft
bed as well. All bungalows are set in
a garden that I am very proud of.
We provide self-service breakfast, and
you can enjoy “Dinning and Wining” at
our popular evening Beach & Tree
Top Restaurant. Of course you can also
participate in our very sociable cooking
workshops. Relax at our beach bar (many
have said that we make the most awesome
Mojitos), and contented sighs are heard
with finally getting a decent glass
of wine while looking at Lanta's great
sunsets blended with the sound of the
sea. See what’s going on with local
fishermen and their children on their
way to their boats (some noise when
coming and going in the morning). It’s
only 2.5 km to Saladan village, where
you can get anything you need. Taxi
(tuk tuks) motorbikes are easy to get.
We can help you book, transport /activities
that suits you.
Those who enjoy staying here are people
who appreciate a small, creative, personal,
funky atmosphere, great food & drinks,
groovy music and have a heart for animals
If you rather prefer top-notch western
flush toilets and TV, This is not the
place for you. You will probably get
an idea if you like it or not by checking

Restaurant.
Within 4,5 year of running TIME FOR
LIME, many of our cooking “students”
has commented: “This is the best
and most beautiful food we have had
on Koh Lanta—and even in Thailand.
Why don’t you have a restaurant?”
So, we decided to take that advice and
started our own small restaurant last
year with very good feedback: This
year will will do something new! A different
Tasting Menu, that changes everyday!
You can either dine and wine right on
the beach or sit and over look the sunset
in our new Tree-Top dining area.
If you have a request for a private
party gathering, do not hesitate to
contact us.

TIME
FOR LIME Beach Bar
We have a full bar, with “the best
cocktails on the Island” “The
most awesome Mojitos”. Many contented
sighs have also been heard with finally
getting a decent glass of wine.
What kind of atmosphere can you expect?
We have had MANY compliments on the good
design, great music (cool jazz - easy listening-
latin etc.) friendly staff, and the special
touch. |

All Rooms Have free Wi-FI, refrigerator,
fan, mosquito net, bathroom, toilet w.
eco Thai flush, hot shower, working desk,
small balcony with hammock. Self-service
breakfast included for two people. (muesli,
yogurt, fresh fruit, cornflakes, toast,
coffee/tea, juice) 4 rooms have Air-con.
Bungalows are located less than 1 minute
from the beach.
(only garden view).
In order to keep prices down, and save
environment we change towels and linen
only on request, but do room-cleaning
every day. |

I was born an animal lover for some reason,
and therefor have founded Lanta Animal
Welfare. Most of all my income from Time
for Lime goes to help injured stray animals
on the Island and perform sterilization
programs. Without this help many would
suffer an agonizing death. You help to
support this cause by coming here. If
you feel that would freak out, or would
be uncomfortable that a cat or dog wanders
on our location, I recommend you not to
