and stay with us at our beautiful private lodge in the woods
next to Khao Sok National Park, one of Thailand's few remaining
habitats of preserved tropical forests with wildlife.
Sleep in our popular tree house bungalows, regular bungalows,
or riverside bungalows. Here you can spend your day trekking
in the jungle, enjoying its exotic vegetation, insects, birds,
reptiles and mammals. Swim in the crystal clear streams
and waterfalls, return to a refreshing shower or swim, and a
relaxing evening at our lounge on the veranda admiring the forest
and the majestic limestone cliffs across the clear river that
passes by. Join in our friendly discussions over snacks and
drinks as we prepare your dinner which you can enjoy under the
twinkling lights of fire flies. |

The
jungle is fun! Our
overall philosophy is dominated by a respect for nature and
the Thai concept of “sanook.” We want everyone
to have a good time!
If we preserve it and respect it, the jungle is full of entertaining
surprises. Returning to our lodge you will find the staff
always pleasant and smiling, trying their best to provide
you with very possible comfort after an energetic day in the
forest. |

| In
addition to nature walks and climbs we can accompany you caving,
jungle camping and tubing down the river. We can also
accompany you on an overnight trip to Chieo Lan lake where
you can spend the night in a romantic floating bungalow on
the placid waters. |

If you
join us in the months of August to October, you will find the weather
somewhat rainy, so bring some protective gear if you do not want to
get wet.
Don t worry of you do get wet, we have a dry and comfortable room
waiting when you return form you treks.
These are worthwhile times too. The rain brings its own wealth of
wonderful things to: specific flowers and mushrooms that cannot be
found at other times of year, and the weather is always cool.
You may even need a sweater or jacket! |

Where
are we?
We are located
at Km 109 on the main highway from Suratthani to Phuket via Takuapa.
This is a convenient stop on the way from Suratthani to Phuket or
vice versa.
It is a nice contrast to the beaches of Koh Samui and Phuket or Krabi.
If you come by bus, get off at the well- marked entrance to Khao-sok
National Park (km marker 109) and you will find us down the road on
the right, after you have crossed the bridge over the river. Don’t
worry if you miss our well marked turn. You will quickly end up at
the National Park Entrance and the guard at the entrance will show
you the way.
